It is at the initiative of Jean-François Munier, director of L’étoile du Nord in Paris, that Clément Dazin and Thomas Scotto met to imagine a creation for young audiences combining the circus and choreographic practice of one and the writing of the other.

Since childhood, human beings are a sum of paradoxes.
Underneath confidence, there is of course shyness.
Underneath silence, the desire to shout
Underneath passivity, the fear of failure.
Underneath a “leave me”… a “love me”.
The desire to please others, to correspond to their expectations often motivates
the transformations of our bodies, of our minds.
We are constantly looking for their approval.
As if they knew better than us what is good or bad for us.
Finally, the other is a revelation of ourselves.

Can we, very early, decide to be happy?
